From Villaricca you can climb Volcan Villaricca, an active volcano which last errupted in 1984... Rumours abound of bubbling lava, sulphuric gas clouds and 2000m climb. What better way to spend a rest day?
There was no bubbling lava but it was impressive nonetheless. The noises coming from the crater made you think it would blow any second.Over 4 hours to get up
